The last M&PE meeting before the summer time break will be on Monday June 20th at 6:30 PM.

The meeting will be held at Debbie Austin’s cottage to have a break from the office!

The 2011 Eyeglass Workshop will be held at Bayside Mall beginning on June 27.

We have over 5000 pair of eyeglasses to process so will be there from June 27 to June 29 and possibly on June 30.
The hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Volunteers are asked to sign up for 3 hour shifts on these days. Jobs include sorting eyeglasses, entering RX into a computer program, checking lists and bagging eyeglasses.

We are preparing for a large clinic in Belize in November and these eyeglasses are needed.

Many of the eyeglasses we processed last year went to Haiti and Guatemala.
