International Women’s Day 2021          #IWD2021

We would like to thank our fabulous community partners at Refined Fool Burger Rebellion for hosting our IWD party. Even though the bulk of the action had to happen socially distanced (through takeout), we had a lot of fun. Proceeds are supporting empowerment of women in Haiti

We loved hosting this contest for local women artists. Congratulations to all participants – your work has inspired and built up our sisters, local to global.

#ChoosetoChallenge

Raising your right hand in the #ChoosetoChallenge pose can express dissent of a specific injustice facing women, or can simply be an outward sign of your inward solidarity.

In 2021, how will you

#ChoosetoChallenge?

How did Haitian women celebrate #IWD2021?

With singing, dancing, and 80 lbs of breadfruit flour!

As they prepare to break ground on an exciting new project (breadfruit flour factory) the Haitian Women’s Federation decided to celebrate by sharing delicious foods prepared with breadfruit flour with the whole community.
